Hey guys,

I've been a memeber of sf.com.au for awhile but i thought I'd share my current project with you all.

Project TRD has been going on for over 3 months now and will probably be finished closer to 2009 . The car has finished its test fit of the TRD widebody. And now the new parts will be molded primed and painted over the next month.

heres a teaser:



While this is all going on the car will start its hp mods. this will include a GT42R and much more.

this what it had before it was stripped to bare shell...

Mods:
3" exhaust with blitz nur spec muffler and custom dump
full alpine and rockford stereo
hybrid front mount
k&n pod
HKS SSQV BOV
20" zenetti kaotic wheels
HKS Hypermax III coilovers
Carbing front and rear strut braces

last dyno made 248.4rwkw @13.5psi

Its now getting a complete single conversion (Gt4202 turbo, 6boost manifold etc) as well as custom billet wheels from the US Endless brakes and much much more...

so its been awhile since this was updated...

long story short its now painted but need further modifications and there has also been a few mechanical improvements. hopefully the car will start for the first time in 2 years next week!!


here is a long timeline of photos....

front bar, rear spoiler and rare bar have still not even been started...


After 13 months of nothing i finally have a small win and get the car home...





so i spent 6 hours removing the sound deadening that seemed to be holding the stentch of dog piss from the previous workshop. this was the result...





i also purchased some alloy cleaner for the cross-member and engine bay. gave it a quick test and it should come up perfectly


Spent a few more hours getting the car ready to send to Sydney for attempt number 2







Couple months later the insurance company finally agree to send it to Sydney to be finished...








hmmm the choices...



Car arrives at its new home for awhile...



New turbo arrives...


First attempt polishing...i think ill stick with choming!




In 2 weeks more work occurs on the car then it has in over a year!

Car finally arriving home. The weather was pretty bad so the colour doesn’t look anything like it does in the sun! Still a long way to go though!





New manifold arrives..




Fuel system has also arrived


Vipec (computer) has arrived but i dont have pics

Sold the wheels as they didn’t fit 100% and heading towards 19s now



back to stockers!

Now over the last few days a mate and i have started the gruelling task of putting this car back together




I’m definitely thinking dark wheels are the way to go...


Watch this front...tomorrow it will be quite different!

wow its been awhile since ive been on here. there has been some significant updates that i really should update haha the car has been tuned. it made 630hp with 28psi on the stock motor. with uni and work being so busy the car has been completely neglected so far this year.
